Should I Try HostGator Web Hosting?

Well from my years of experience using HostGator Web Hosting, well yeah you should.

In all these years I’ve only one or two ticket support sent to HostGator, and that was sent only during my maiden days using the company, asking for help, when I had the server settings wrong.

The ticket support itself was fast. Back then there was no online chat, but now there is. I even tried chatting with the support staff, just for the kick of it, haha. * chuckles *

After having moving around from one web hosting company to another, finding most of them are crap, I’ve finally made HostGator Web Hosting my home for good.

I think the single keyword to descibe my experience is “reliability“.

I’ve had downtime of course, but all due to HostGator doing some upgrading to the server or PHP.

There was once an incident, when the datacenter or was it rackspace location caught fire, but my sites were never affected.

I believe you shouldn’t look at prices when choosing your web hosting, but the reputation and importance of having a secure and reliable web server.

But then again HostGator Web Hosting prices are competitive itself. It may not be dirt-cheap but its affordable.
