The two are different variables where web space is the amount of space allocated for you to use at the server, while bandwidth is the amount of data allowed to be transferred from the server on a monthly basis.

You can’t exceed both stated space or your site will be suspended until the month is over or you upgraded. So its wise to choose the right hosting company.

But then you come across offers that has packages like unlimited bandwidth? Fact or Fiction?

Well not wanting to burst your bubble, it does not exist.

Oh yes such companies gives unlimited bandwidth, but to a certain extend. There’s a limitation to this. As long you don’t exceed the CPU level usage that is.

Do read the fine print as it will agree with what I’m saying. It is just a marketing gimmick to get you to purchase their hosting.
