Using a Different Web HostPosted October 1st, 2009Having the best web host taking care of your website is a big deal. You need them to take care of a lot and they have a lot to do with how much action your site will see. If you find yourself in an unhappy position with your web host and wish to switch, it is not the end of the world. You definitely need to move on if you don’t get the space that you must have and if the down time is more than you find acceptable. It would be ideal if every company out there did exactly what they promised and they followed through with good customer service and a fair amount of up time, but as within all businesses some web hosting agents do not provide adequate service for your business needs. Hopefully, you have figured this out early enough that it wont impede your service and hopefully you will be able to hang onto your domain name so that you can still get those who are doing business with you redirected to your new space on the web. Whatever the consequences of switching web host may be you will have to do it under certain situations. If the host you have is doing such a crummy job that it is basically chasing customers away from your site, you are in trouble. Even if you are only paying a small amount to have the space and service, you need to move on if this is the case. Do you like to sit and wait for the different pages of a website to open up? If you are like most other people that shop and look for information online then the answer is probably no. There are just too many other places to look and to buy that have great working websites. If it takes too long or is just too much trouble to use your website then likely they won’t be back. Switching web hosting is something that you really don’t want to do. It is not good for business at all. You have to decide though if it it worse to stay with the host you have. It is hard enough starting a new business without your web hosting service working against you instead of helping you along. The perfect php hosting will bring your company as far as it can go. For a host that will work as hard as you, check into http://www.phphosts.org and you will not be unhappy.
